Status of Horsham District Council’s parks, open spaces and leisure activities as a result of national lockdown

Horsham District Council’s parks and countryside sites are vitally important at this time. However, due to the second national lockdown which started at midnight on Wednesday 4 November 2020, please note the following changes and restrictions:

Parks

Warnham Local Nature Reserve will remain open but the hides and café will be closed

All car parks to Horsham Park, Southwater Country Park, Leechpool and Owlbeech Woods sites will remain open
Cafes at Southwater Country Park and Horsham Park will be remaining open with takeaway only services

Toilets at Southwater Country Park will remain open, however toilets at Horsham Park will be closed as they are part of Pavilions

Outdoor play areas will remain open
All town centre toilets are planned to remain open including Swan Walk Shopping Centre’s accessible and Changing Places facilities.
Leisure and activities

• All leisure centres will close. Please visit www.placesleisure.org for more information

• All health walks are cancelled

• All health bike rides are cancelled

• Reaching Higher athletics activities are all cancelled. Online sessions will continue.
