Tonics Hair in Horsham has been named one of the UK’s best customer focused teams after securing a finalist place in HJ’s British Hairdressing Business Awards 2020.
Even though they weren’t able to physically see their clients during lockdown, this didn’t prevent UK salons from supporting their customers in many creative and unique ways. From virtual consultations, hair hotlines and personal deliveries of products, this year hairdressers have done everything they can to ensure their customer service continued in the face of adversity.
The Customer Service award, sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional, recognises salons that create an outstanding customer journey. Tonics Hair earned this top industry badge of honour thanks to its brilliant way of meeting client needs, evaluating working methods and crafting an amazing customer experience prior to and during lockdown.
HJ’s British Hairdressing Business Awards, now in its 22nd year, promote professionalism, innovation and excellence, while recognising those individuals and teams who work tirelessly to raise the profile of the hairdressing industry and make it attractive to new entrants while keeping it at the forefront of the mind of the consumer.
On the nomination, salon owner, Marcos Garcia says: “Our whole team is delighted to be nominated. It has been a tough year, but our clients are our priority. Although we haven’t been able to see them as much, we have tried to continue the high level of customer service they expect, just in a different way.
