Saturday 20 June, Horsham Sports Club. Early Bird Tickets available to buy now.

Now in its fifth year, The Big Gig 2020 promises to deliver another great festival fundraising day with an all new line-up. Some of the best tribute acts in the country, as well as some uber talented local musicians you may already know, have been hand-picked to get your arms swaying.

Headlining this year are the SPICE GIRLZ. Recognised as the number 1 Spice Girls tribute act in the world, they will be performing high energy, choreographed, cult hits to ‘Spice Up Your Life’! Local eight-piece band ALMOST ELVIS will kick off the event with a show-stopping tribute to ‘The King’. Current and popular, 100% live vocals from 24K BRUNO MARS and his professional dancers will be followed by THE BOOTLEG BEE GEES, making it a ‘Saturday Night Fever’ to remember. Local legends MURDOCH’S CRAZY EYES will be performing without limits, delivering everything to get you off your picnic chairs, from funk and soul to punk and rock. Doors open 1.00pm. Bands start at 2.30pm. Last band finishes 10.30pm

There’s no need for picnics as the delicious array of Horsham’s own street food stalls, including Thai, Pizza, Fish & Chips, Vegan Platters and Vegetarian Burgers will be satisfying hungry festival goers throughout the day and night. Plus, as well as the club’s own fully licensed bar, specialist pop-up drinks tents will be selling Local Ales, Prosecco, Pimm’s, Cider and a variety of Gins.

If that wasn’t enough! Courtesy of Beautiful World Tents, a fully dressed hat tipi will offer some shade and a rainbow decorated gazebo will house some award-winning children’s entertainment. Complimentary to festival goers and available all day, Twilight from CraZy BeanZ will deliver free-flow fun with bubbles, balloon modelling and interactive story telling. Bouncy inflatables, children’s stalls, and of course our ever-popular glitter face painting booth, completes the festival fun line-up.

Horsham Sports Club Chairman, Chris Wassell, enthused: “We’re excited to be providing Horsham and beyond with a festival that tops last year. This year we have some fantastic acts that we think will appeal to the whole family, so we encourage you to book your tickets now to not miss out”

All are welcome to set up their own space together with friends and family, but please remember for the enjoyment of everyone that any gazebos brought in need to be no bigger than 10ft/10ft. Please also note that no alcohol, glass, large picnic hampers or coolers will be allowed in.

This is a fundraising event so all profits will go to improving the club facilities and to our lead charity Action Medical Research, based in Horsham since 1971, the UK-wide charity funding vital research to help babies and children.

We’re also delighted to have locally based @Home Estate and Lettings Agency support us this year as our prime sponsor. Founded in 2015, @Home is an estate agency specifically geared for the online market to get the best price for your home.
