A Sussex company has been recognised at a top industry event, organised by a national trade body.
Safeguard Europe, based in Horsham, was honoured by the Property Care Association (PCA) at its annual awards ceremony.
The company was presented with an accolade for sustainability, for its pioneering work in product development to support the environment.
Founded in 1983 to produce products for the refurbishment of existing buildings, Safeguard Europe Ltd is now a leading manufacturer and supplier of specialist damp-proofing and waterproofing systems.
The PCA recognises the work of its members at an awards ceremony held during its annual conference, which this year took place at The Slate, University of Warwick.
Stephen Hodgson, chief executive of the PCA, said: “This is a well-deserved award for Safeguard Europe.
“They work to a very high standard and are worthy winners of this prestigious accolade.”
