PANTOMIME CAST ‘FELINE’ GOOD AT THE HAWTH FOR LAUNCH OF DICK WHITTINGTON
The Hawth’s foyer was paved with gold on Friday 13 September, when the cast of Dick Whittington arrived in their stunning costumes to launch this year’s pantomime for the Crawley theatre.
The star cast was led on their adventures around the venue by television favourite and star of the stage, CHARLIE BROOKS (EastEnders’ Janine Butcher and winner of I’m a Celebrity) stepping onto the stage, ready to be booed in the role of Queen Rat, with GEMMA HUNT (CBeebies’ Swashbuckle) donning the sparkle as Fairy Bowbells, and Channel 5’s Milkshake! presenter DAVID RIBI taking on the title role of Dick Whittington.
Also in attendance were Crawley’s favourite dame, the fabulous MICHAEL J BATCHELOR who will be playing Sarah the Cook in this year’s production, along with RICHARD FRANKS as Billy and HARRI NICHOLS, who showed off her impressive acrobatic skills as Tommy the Cat.
Once again, the show will be written by PAUL HENDY, and produced by EVOLUTION, the same team behind last year’s smash hit, Aladdin.
Dick Whittington is a panto adventure like no other, with spectacular sets and costumes, amazing special effects and a script that will have all ages rolling in the aisles from Friday 6 December 2019 to Sunday 5 January 2020.
