Horsham District Council’s Health and Wellbeing team are now offering free wellbeing drop in sessions* every month for residents of Henfield, starting this September.
The wellbeing sessions aim to offer one-on-one advice, guidance and support to help you make lifestyle changes such as losing weight, eating well, becoming more active, reducing alcohol intake and stopping smoking. Our friendly advisors can give you the tools to start improving areas of your lifestyle now.
You may also be interested in trying a free Wellbeing MOT – step onto our body composition scales to find out your fat percentage, muscle mass, bone mass, visceral fat, hydration levels and more!
You will have the chance to talk through your results, confidentially, with a wellbeing advisor and decide on any steps you might want to take to help improve your health and lifestyle.
Commenting on the new health and wellbeing drop in sessions, Horsham District Council’s Cabinet Member for Community Matters and Wellbeing, Councillor Tricia Youtan, said: “One of our key aims as a council is to ensure the ongoing health and wellbeing of our residents.
“I am therefore delighted that we are launching new opportunities for local people to improve their health and wellbeing in several ways.
“I would urge as many of you as possible to come forward and arrange appointments with our advisors and sign up to reap the many health benefits.”
The drop in service in Henfield will take place on the second Tuesday of every month from 3.30pm to 5.30pm at the Henfield Medical Centre, Deer Park, Henfield, BN5 9JQ. Appointments will also be available from 6-8pm.
