Jack and Jill Pre-school celebrated their 25th Anniversary on Saturday 14 September, with a teddy bears picnic, and welcomed pupils old and new. Based at Littlehaven and Northolmes schools in Horsham, the Pre-school is a registered charity; It is registered with Ofsted and provides quality, inclusive childcare for children from the age of ‘rising’ twos to five years.
Founded in September 1994, in June 1999 Jack and Jill changed its name from Playgroup to Pre-school, to reflect a positive approach to the care and education of young children. In November 2009 the school was re-located from St Andrews Hall to Littlehaven Infant School and developed the setting further in 2014, when the premises were extended to include an office and sensory support room. In September 2017, Jack and Jill opened its doors to a second setting, situated on the site of Northolmes Junior School. The most recent developments include extending provision to include children aged 2-12 years, by delivering wrap-around childcare, extending opening hours to provide a variety of sessions between 7.30am and 6pm across 39 weeks, term time provision.
