Broadbridge Heath FC are celebrating their centenary year in a brand-new purpose-built football stadium
Among the new facilities, the club will benefit from this season are a new pavilion and social club area, two full-size football pitches and a junior pitch
Broadbridge Heath FC’s junior teams kicked off their season last Saturday during the club’s centenary year, with the support of their sponsors, award-winning property developers Countryside.
The funds from Countryside’s sponsorship will be used by the club to help run and maintain their new pitches as well as the football team’s pavilion and social club – the latter of which hosts a bar, kitchen, meeting room, four-team changing rooms and three referee changing rooms.
Alongside their sponsorship, Countryside has also contributed financially towards the construction of the £1 million pavilion at Broadbridge Heath FC, the football club’s stadium, two full-size football pitches, and junior pitch.
Keith Soane, Chairman of Broadbridge Heath FC, says: “We are grateful and delighted that Countryside is continuing its sponsorship of the club for the eighth consecutive season. As we continue rising through the tables, their support will be vital towards helping us maintain our new facilities and pitches, while giving us an additional boost in our centenary year.”
Andrew Carrington, Managing Director, Housebuilding (Strategic Land), Countryside, says: “As the junior teams at Broadbridge Heath FC kick off the season in their new home facilities, we would like to wish them the very best of luck. We are excited to continue our sponsorship of this growing club, which is an important source of pride for the local community. As the season unfolds, we look forward to seeing the teams reach new heights.”
The football club’s next match will be played tonight with Broadbridge Heath FC’s Under 15s team playing rival team Horsham District Football Club.
