TSB in Horsham has raised £1,848.81 for their Local Charity Partner, Jane’s Wish, by holding a range of bake sales, cycle challenges and prize draw giveaways, since the Bank partnered with the charity in September 2017.
Like TSB, Jane’s Wish is passionate about helping the local community in Horsham to thrive. The funds raised will be used to fund days out for children, and their families, in Sussex who have been affected by cancer.
Louise Kensett, Community Champion at TSB in Horsham, said: “Jane’s Wish is a vital part of our local community and we’re really proud to have them as our Local Charity Partner.
“Our team in Horsham have worked hard putting in a lot of time and dedication to make this partnership a success. We have really enjoyed our themed bake sales, working with local businesses to offer fantastic prize draws for the local community and completing our hike it, bike it and bake it challenges, and it is fantastic to know the difference that our efforts will make.”
Jose Manuel, Trustee, Jane’s Wish, said: “Thank you to everyone at TSB Horsham for the support that you have offered to our Charity in the last 2 years. You have made such a big difference to our little Charity; the funds and awareness raised about our cause has supported families to spend time together, and will continue to help us to support more families from Sussex in the future.”
TSB’s sole focus is to serve local people and businesses which, in turn, helps fuel local economies across Britain. Instead of having a centrally chosen Charity of the Year, Partners working at TSB are empowered to support a local cause that shares the Bank’s passion for helping local communities thrive.
