Nick Mowat, General Manager at The Capitol, Horsham is delighted to confirm three more actors for this year’s swashbuckling production of Peter Pan.
NICOLA HUME will be will playing three roles; Mrs Darling, a Mermaid and an Indian Chief.
Nicola is well known for her presenting skills on the Heart FM breakfast show. She spent 6 wonderful years being part of the team with Tom, Jack and producer Brian. After coming off air at the end of May 2019 she has been hosting various bits and bobs.
She regularly works with Whatcar magazine as their digital presenter. If there’s a new car that needs talking about, like a Kia, Vauxhall or MG, guaranteed Nicola will be the one on screen doing the talking.
So far, this year she’s hosted numerous events, including one at The Capitol where Nicola spent the evening on stage with author Peter James talking about his books and his career. She does various voiceovers too! You’ll hear Nicola’s voice in lots of different places. This is Nicola’s second year performing in pantomime at The Capitol and she’s over the moon to be back.
HYWEL DOWSELL is thrilled to be at The Capitol Horsham, once again, this Christmas for another fun-filled pantomime and takes the role of Mrs Smee. Born in Wales, Hywel graduated from The Guildford School of Acting, where he trained with a scholarship and received a BA(hons) in Musical Theatre.

JAMES FLETCHER is also very excited to be returning to Horsham to play a newly created role of Mini Smee.
He trained at The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). He is best known for his role as troubled teen, Dylan Jenkins, in Channel 4’s Hollyoaks. His other television credits include Downton Abbey (ITV), Harlots, Housewifes and Heroines (BBC), and Newsnight’s How To Die (BBC).
His theatre credits include Aladdin (Aladdin, An Lanntair), Simple Simon (Jack and The Beanstalk, The Capitol), Peter Pan (Peter Pan, The Cresset), Billy (Fields Unsown, Attic Theatre Company), Brush (Love and a Bottle, The Greenwich Theatre), Tobias (Sweeny todd, POSK Theatre), Flute (A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Pleasance London), and Guiderius (Cymbeline, The Tabard Theatre).
This brand NEW version of the classic story will keep you hooked when it opens in Horsham on Friday 13 December until Sunday 5 January 2020.
2019 marks the 90th Anniversary that JM Barrie gifted the rights to Great Ormond Street Hospital and The Capitol will be organising bucket collections after every performance, with the donations going to the Charity.
