The final preparations are being made ahead of this year’s Broadbridge Heath Summer Fete, one of Horsham’s favourite annual summer events.
This year’s fete takes place on Saturday 15 June and will be hosted at its typical home on the Broadbridge Heath Common, which is free to enter on the day to all visitors.
The event, organised by the dedicated group of Broadbridge Heath Gala Association members, has been given a boost with the news that housebuilder, Bellway, is supporting the fete.
Bellway, who is currently building new homes in the Horsham village, is sponsoring the event for the second year in succession.
Hollie Hebblethwaite, of Broadbridge Heath Gala Association, said: “We are really looking forward to this year’s summer fete, to be able to bring together the entire community for a day of fun and entertainment on the Heath’s Common.
“Without the support of our sponsors, we wouldn’t be able to host the event, so we would again like to thank all our contributors, including Bellway, for their kind donations.”
Bellway is currently building a collection of three, four and five-bedroom homes at its Solomon’s Seal development, off Old Guildford Road in Broadbridge Heath.
Daniel Williamson, Head of Sales for Bellway South London, said: “We are proud to, once again, be able to give our backing to the Broadbridge Heath Gala Association, a key contributor to the summer calendar in the community.
“We hope our support will go some way towards helping make the event another great success, and hope everyone who attends this year’s summer fete has a wonderful time.”
