New app launched at Bluecoat Sports

Bluecoats App

Members of the Horsham health and fitness club Bluecoat Sports can now benefit from a brand new app which launched on 18th January.

The official app of the club has a range of capabilities designed to help members book into classes easier, even on the go.

A range of features

As well as allowing members to book into their favourite classes and see the various timetables day by day, the app has a range of beneficial features to help their members get the most out of their workouts.

One of the main features allows users to record their workout and therefore track their progress over time. Members are also able to set goals and use their workout records to accurately track their target progress.

It also has other capabilities such as integration with other fitness apps, such as Apple Health and FitBit, as well as the ability to request personal training sessions and take part in competitions with other members.

Giving back

The app is the latest way that Bluecoat Sports is embracing technology to benefit its members; at the end of 2018 they had their website refreshed to make it easier to use and more visually appealing to members.

The health and fitness club has also recently implemented a penalty charge system for those who book into classes but do not attend. Bluecoat Sports are now charging a £4 fee to any non-attendees of classes to try and minimise the risk of members missing out on getting a spot in their very busy classes.

The total of all of these charges will be saved up and at the end of every quarter the club will be donating the total sum to a specific charity. The first charity to benefit from this new scheme will be the British Heart Foundation
