New 2018/19 Annual Parking Discs, for Horsham District Council car parking in its rural market towns, are available to buy from Monday (19 February).
The Annual Parking Disc Scheme was introduced in April last year and current discs will expire on 31 March 2018.
The Annual Parking Discs represent extremely good value for money at just £12 a year, enabling residents and visitors to park in any of the Council’s market town car parks.
To purchase an annual parking disc for 2018/19, please go online from 19 February and visit: www.horsham.gov.uk/annualparki
Alternatively, the Council can take payment by phone via the Contact Centre on 01403 215100.
Cabinet Member for the Local Economy, Cllr Gordon Lindsay said: “For many users, the annual parking disc system has proved very popular over the past year. It is a convenient and low cost way for residents and visitors to be able to park, at no extra cost, in all of the council owned Horsham District market town car parks.
“If you have not yet signed up for the scheme, I urge you to do so before the 31 March deadline.”
The Annual Parking Disc can be used in Henfield, Steyning, Storrington, Pulborough, Billingshurst and Roffey. More details can be found at www.horsham.gov.uk/annualparki
The new 2018/19 parking disc will be valid from 1 April 2018 to 31 March 2019 with existing discs expiring on 31 March 2018. Additional discs are available for users with more than one car per household at a cost of £6 a year, with up to a maximum of four discs per household.
If users prefer not to buy a disc, they can buy a Pay & Display ticket at 75p for the 1st hour and £1.50 for up to the maximum permitted stay within each car park. Cash, card and mobile phone payments are available at all machines.
For users needing to park for their work, there is limited availability for long stay parking season tickets. For further details about these please email email@example.com
