As part of Horsham’s Easter celebrations, that will include the twelfth Piazza Italia festival on Good Friday and Easter Monday, Town Centre businesses will host a ‘Bunny Hunt’ during the School Holidays from Good Friday (30 March) until Sunday 15 April inclusive. The event is being organised as usual by the Rotary Club of Horsham, supported by Horsham District Council.
The rabbits are so delighted to be coming back to Horsham for the ninth year running, that they are already preparing for their grand hop-in. Accompanied pre-teenage children will be able to visit a range of shops and draw ‘Find the Carrot’ cards, to discover whether they have won a little treat, and then find which Bunny is hiding in that Shop! The children will enter the Bunny’s name onto a form and will be in for a chance to win cash prizes of up to £40. ATOM, Brock Taylor, Toy Barnhaus and Spirit FM will be sponsoring the activity.
Entry forms will be available at participating shops and be downloadable from the Rotary Club of Horsham Facebook Page and other local websites, social media forums, and published in the local press.
The Great Easter Bunny Hunt is a marvellous event for ALL the family, as Tony & Pat from Wiltshire wrote: “we have just returned from Horsham after our days “grandparenting”. Our daughter pointed out the ‘Easter Bunny Hunt’ as an activity for our ‘soon to be’ five year old granddaughter and so on Wednesday we set off around Horsham with our granddaughter and her younger brother in tow. We were amazed and delighted by how extremely friendly all the shopkeepers and shop assistants were to our young charges. Without exception, they gave of their time (and sweets) to our granddaughter. Such a welcoming and vibrant town centre. To the organisers and participants in the scheme should go a lot of praise.”
