The 2017 Southwater Christmas Festival and Lights Switch-on will be held on Saturday, 25 November in Lintot Square, from 12pm to 5.30pm, and is looking set to be a dazzling day full of fun and Christmas cheer!!
The festival will feature over 20 festive stalls with food and drink situated around the square, children’s fun fair and arts and crafts – something for the whole family. Plus the square’s delightful shops and hostelries will be open and ready to welcome you as you start your Christmas in Southwater. Don’t forget to visit Santa’s magical grotto in Beeson House, where the children can say hello to Father Christmas!
Situated within the main car park of Lintot Square will be the main stage where you will see live music and displays from local groups. Southwater Parish Council Chairman, Graham Watson explained: “The festival provides the perfect opportunity for everyone to enjoy some festive entertainment, to pick up some goodies and really get into the Christmas spirit. Lintot will be illuminated as the Christmas lights are switched on, helped along by Captain Jack. Stay with us for some carol singing led by West Sussex Music.”
Residents are asked to walk to the event if possible as parking will be limited.
