The Secret Voice of Hollywood

“Film stars in the 50’s and 60’s needed to sing and the public needed to believe they could sing and if they couldn’t, that’s when the ghosts came out…”

Gin Palace Productions bring you the story of one of the greatest singers you may never have heard of…

Marni Nixon was the premier dubbing artist for some of the biggest stars in Hollywood. In this production, we join her in her lunch-hour, whilst she is recording the songs for the film of “My Fair Lady”. She reminisces about her life and the classic films she has worked on, including ‘The King and I’ and “West Side Story’.

The Secret Voice of Hollywood will be at The Capitol Studio on Saturday 17 June.
