The Swans give their support to the Hornets

Horsham Football Club’s future is reaching a crucial stage with a decision from Horsham District Council on the proposed new ground and facilities at Hop Oast (Horsham Golf & Fitness) and the jointly lodged application of a development at The Holbrook Club expected in early March.
Ahead of that decision the club are asking for support for both applications to be made by members of the public, organisations or any other group or business who believe that the approval of the developments would benefit the town. The proposed Horsham Football Club development includes a Football Association category D ground, an all-weather 3G main pitch and a 3G training pitch as well as a single-storey club house. To enable this development a separate but linked application is being made for a 58 home development on a part of the land at The Holbrook Club, which is owned by Horsham FC.
Support for the club is coming in from near and far and recently Horsham CEO John Lines received a letter from Premier League Club Swansea City who the team played in a memorable cup tie, in front of a large crowd and the Sky TV cameras, back in 2007.
Details of how to offer support for the applications can be found at where there are links to the HDC planning applications and an opportunity for those interested to make a comment.
