On the 28th January 2017 Bluecoat Sports Health and Fitness Club will open their doors and provide the Horsham district with the biggest, free of charge fitness event in the area. An annual event, this year is set to welcome more attendees than ever before.
The Open Day proudly caters to both members and non-members as the club believes that by offering a variety of accessible fitness classes for the community, they can inspire people to take that first step in getting active and improving fitness.
A fun way to spend a Saturday, it’s a great opportunity to try something new. As all classes cater to all abilities, you don’t need any previous experience to take part. On the day, you can attend as many events as you wish; all you have to do is sign-up beforehand with the Bluecoat Sports booking form, available here, which also includes starting times.
Sarah Aslin, Front of House & Marketing Manager, states, “The annual Open Day is a highlight of the year for the club and for everyone that attends. The atmosphere is very positive and it’s wonderful to see new faces making the most of our facilities”.
Classes include firm favourites Les Mills Body Pump (which will be the 100th release), Body Combat and Body Balance, all taking place on the Main Stage. This will provide an entertaining, supportive space for fitness where you might discover a new pursuit for 2017. The Body Combat class proves popular and over 130 people attended in 2016, so book early to avoid disappointment.
In the pop up gym you can try out Core Blitz, Warrior Workout, HIIT Circuits and HIIT Training and staff are also on hand for fitness assessments. If you have a query on the day, staff will be very happy to help and also show you around the facilities, such as the 25 metre swimming pool and sauna.
If you require care for children, the club has also arranged childcare with access to a creche for 3 months to five year olds and a kids club for five year olds, up to the age of 12. In the afternoon, the whole family can take part in a family fun splash in the pool.
If you have any questions about the classes available and the timetable for the day, please contact the club on 01403 247 572, or you can email firstname.lastname@example.org.
