LET HORSHAM’S KITCHEN STORE REVITALISE YOUR HOME HUB!
Martin Read – Business Reporter
A visit to The Kitchen Store in Horsham’s East Street is an invigorating experience, opening up an inspirational world of creative, colourful designs. A glance through the window gives a flavour of what is on offer, but inside the store really opens up with stunning displays of 15 fully equipped, full-sized working kitchens. The store took over the elegant, architecturally-designed building last November and began trading from their sparkling new premises in March, quickly earning a much deserved local reputation for professionalism.
Individuality is the key: customers are encouraged to have a good look round to see what might be achievable in their home, but there is no question of having to accept an off the peg solution. The Kitchen Store appreciate that every space is different and love nothing better than working in close partnership to create a bespoke design entirely suited to the customer’s home.
Apart from the ultra modern, innovative range of equipment on display, including hobs, ovens and fridge freezers, the store has on show many examples of materials that can be used for worktops, from granites and woods to a comprehensive range of laminates. There are a huge variety of cabinets to choose from and dozens of handles and many wall and flooring options, a customer enthusing: “Brilliant, I really can’t think of anything else that we need to do!” Hardly surprising then that The Kitchen Store won the Best Retailer Award at the 2015 Brighton & Hove Business Awards.
And, the great thing is that the company supports local businesses, using Lancing’s Paula Rosa and Manhattan’s kitchen furniture, royal warrant appointed. The glazers are based in Horsham and the stone masons in Arundel. The Kitchen Store has additional outstanding showrooms in Hove and Lancing providing, with Horsham, a unique independently owned and run company with their own dedicated teams of designers. The five installers are matched to the customer’s particular interests and requirements. There is a real buzz about The Kitchen Store, Managing Director Alan Margetts telling the District Post: “We’re absolutely delighted to be in such a great location, part of a community with such great spirit – we’ve got a lot of energy and are really excited to be in Horsham!”
Horsham Store Manager Mark Davies adds: “I just love being in Horsham, too – it’s a great place to be: our customers are all genuinely interested and are very pleasant, a joy to work with! Our one to one service makes us stand out and for me there is nothing more satisfying than seeing through a new customer’s project to a successful conclusion.” Mark has been in the kitchen business for 15 years, learning his craft as a designer with a drawing board and continues: “We can produce something stunning to suit every size and style of kitchen and it’s great when a new customer comes in with a consultation wish list. We then work closely together and I round it off by going to see the finished installation to make sure that everything is perfect.”
The Kitchen Store are in the quality market, but are competitively priced because they deal direct with manufacturers. FIRA is the UK’s leading furniture testing body and The Kitchen Store are the proud holder of their Gold Award for installation, much sought after in the industry – as is the recent “Investors in Gold” best practice accreditation.
There is excellent customer feedback on the company’s website – the kitchen is the hub of family life and The Kitchen Store would be delighted to revitalise your home with one of their unbeatable distinctive designs. But, be warned, a visit to The Kitchen Store in Horsham is full of temptation! www.thekitchenstore.co.uk
