Drivers are being offered a 20 per cent discount at a new car park.
Horsham District Council opened a new long stay car park in Myrtle Lane, Billingshurst, in response to demand from residents and commuters as new housing increased pressure on parking space.
Myrtle Lane Pay and Display Car Park is just a short walk from Billingshurst train station and provides 33 new parking spaces in the village.
The car park is a 24-hour car park which can accommodate commuters parking from Monday to Friday.
Customers are able to buy season tickets for £150 a quarter or £600 a year. For day commuters there is a pay and display machine with a day charge of £3.50.
As a special promotional offer the council is offering a 20% discount to customers buying an annual season ticket in the first three months of opening, on a first come, first served basis.
