Sussexdown care home in Storrington hosts its annual fayre tomorrow from 1.30 to 3.30pm.
Friends, families and the local community are all invited to join residents and staff at the home. Special guest on the day will be the High Sheriff of West Sussex Denise Patterson.
The Sussexdown Christmas Fayre is organised by the Friends of Sussexdown Committee, which raises money to provide activities, entertainment and outings for residents.
Visitors will be able to browse a range of stalls, providing plenty of inspiration for Christmas presents for all the family. There will also be raffles and the home’s very own Santa’s Grotto to keep the children entertained. Refreshments will include afternoon tea and mince pies, with all proceeds going towards the Residents’ Amenity Fund. Admission to the fayre is free.
Home Manager at Care South’s Sussexdown, Heather Rogers said: “Our Christmas Fayre is a real highlight of the year for residents and staff and we hope to welcome as many people as possible during the afternoon. We’d like to say a big thank you to the Friends of Sussexdown for their continued support in making the Christmas Fayre such a special event.”
