Horsham Rugby Club has released tickets for its Fireworks and Bonfire Night, which takes place on Saturday 7 November. Featuring the “biggest bonfire in Horsham”, and a spectacular fireworks display provided by Universal Fireworks set to music, this year’s festivities promise to be the best yet at the Club.
There will also be a hog roast and other food outlets, indoor and outdoor licenced bars, various stalls and more funfair rides than ever before!
Richard Ordidge, Commercial Manager at the club said: “Bonfire night is a big community occasion in Horsham. We have tried to organise an event with something for everyone. There are so few bonfires around these days that we hope ours will be a real pull for local people.
For the first time ever we will be holding two fireworks displays! A smaller children’s display at 6:30pm for the benefit of the kids who cannot stay up too late and then the main display at 8:00pm.”
Tickets for the Horsham Rugby Club Bonfire Night and Fireworks Extravaganza are available from the Rugby Club, The Candy Box, Henry Adams, The Capitol, The Black Jug and New Street Butchers and online via www.horshamrufc.com. Ticket prices are £5 per person or £20 for a family of five (£15 if bought in advance). Gates open at 5:30pm and the bonfire will be lit at around 7pm. The event this year is sponsored by Vines of Gatwick and music is being provided by local DJ Michael Fisher.
Horsham Rugby Club uses its Bonfire Night and Fireworks event as one of its main annual fundraisers. The club supports young people through rugby and has turned out several players who have gone on to play for England. It is currently raising funds to renovate the changing rooms and clubhouse to help give the club the prestige its performances deserve.
