A Horsham nursery has won a national award for its high quality.
The Little Barn Owls Nursery and Farm School captured the ‘Nursery of the Year’ award at the Nursery World Awards in London.
The awards showcase the best individuals, organisations, initiatives and resources in early years education and childcare from across the UK.
The Little Barns Owls team was presented with the award at a black tie dinner in London after waiting for the result since February when the shortlist was announced. After accepting the award

“I am personally incredibly proud of the Little Barn Owls team who work tirelessly to provide the very best education and care to the families we look after. The nursery has been developing some very exciting new initiatives this year and although we’ve been recognised as the best, this award will only propel us forward to achieve more great things to help enrich the lives of more children and families. We are deeply committed to promoting our unique way of working, largely inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, which has such a deep impact on young children’s development.’
Little Barn Owls was established in 2010 after owner Hayley needed to find good quality and
affordable childcare for her three young children in the Horsham area. Competition for this award was tougher than ever this year with Little Bar Owls up against stiff competition from nurseries across the UK including three other exceptional finalists. Nursery World
