Earlier this week, Bluecoat Sports – based in Christs Hospital – unveiled their brand new and improved weights area. Their weights floor has doubled in size and boasts state of the art ‘Technogym’ equipment.
Weights area expansion
The newly added equipment includes a Pure Strength power rack, Scott bench, Olympic flat bench and two adjustable benches. The much awaited new weights area was opened to the public on Monday 24th August and has been extremely popular so far.
Brand new machines
In addition to the new weights section of the gym,the upstairs area of the fitness suite also received an upgrade earlier this year. They invested in 16 brand new, ultramodern fitness stations, as used by many Olympic athletes. The stations have multifunctional on-board entertainment systems, enabling you to access all of your social media accounts whilst on the go as well as watch TV and listen to the radio, helping to make your workout that bit more enjoyable.
Have you tried the MyWellness App?
If you are a member at Bluecoats then you may have already tried out their new MyWellness system. This combines a range of fitness applications and enables you to track your fitness progress in and out of the club. The club’s friendly staff can set your programme up on the system; you can then access your account from any tablet or smartphone. There are interactive tools within the app that monitor results, check rankings and track your exercise each week. So if you want to stay on top of your workouts and keep an eye on your performance this is perfect for you.
