Piazza Italia 9 returns to Horsham

Horsham’s annual Italian festival is back this easter and this year it’s starting earlier than ever.

Due to high demand the supercars will be arriving in Horsham Town Centre earlier with the car catwalks and displays starting from 10am, giving you more time during the day to see them in all of their Italian glory!

This year on Good Friday the Ferrari catwalk is starting at 10am on the Carfax and will give you a chance to see some of the world’s most stylish cars close up and in motion with a running commentary describing each car with loving detail. No other event lets you get as close to some of the world’s most expensive cars.

Piazza Italia is not just about cars, it’s about bikes too! Good Friday will see a drive through of over 200 superbikes led by the world famous Italian manufacturer Ducati at 12.15pm with a no barriers static display at the Bishopric afterwards.

Also on Good Friday on the Carfax, there will be a display of classic supercars from Addspeed for those who prefer the classic car stylings, an Abarth display for those who prefer smaller cars with a lot of punch and long-time sponsors Lifestyle Mazda will be there with an extensive display of their latest models.

Easter Saturday is all about Minis! This year is bringing over 40 classic Minis parading through Horsham town centre at 10.30am and then driving down to display at the Bishopric for the rest of the day. Mix this with the roaming Italian Job gang street theatre players and there is bound to be trouble. Also on Easter Saturday Broadbridge Heath Garage and The Children’s Trust are bringing a top of the line selection of supercars to display on East Street and Market Square, and with the chance to gain tickets to race on the Top Gear track it’s a opportunity not to be missed.

Being the final day of Piazza Italia, Easter Monday is bringing the extreme stylings and noise of the Italian manufacturer Lamborghini to Horsham Town Centre. A range of Lamborghinis will be strutting their stuff with a Carfax Parade at 10am then moving on to display at the Forum from 10.30am.

It’s not just about the Lamborghinis on Easter Monday, with the return of the now famous Bullseye Scooter Club arriving at 10.45 on the Carfax. Displaying their Italian scooters around the bandstand for all to see, there is bound to be chrome and hundreds of mirrors! Horsham town centre will also have more displays from Washington Coachworks with their amazing range of supercars, classic Alfa Romeos and Fiat Coupes on the Carfax. There will also be displays of the famous classic Fiat 500s on East Street, the slightly shinier Fiat Abarths in Bishopric and further displays from Lifestyle Mazda.

Piazza Italia 9 holds the keys to all your motoring needs, with over 500 vehicles displayed throughout Horsham town centre over the 3 days of the festival. No other Italian festival allows visitors to get so up close and personal with the world’s most luxurious cars and with other spectacles such as Italian food markets, wine tours, live music and roaming entertainment. The event takes place over the Easter weekend on Good Friday 3, Saturday 4, and Easter Monday, April 6, 2015.
