The Black Horse Inn raise hundreds for charity

Local charity Kangaroos, who run activities for children and young adults with learning disabilities, helped organise a special Burns Night supper at The Black Horse Inn, Nuthurst recently which raised £621.78.

Pictured is Kangaroos Fundraising and Events Co-coordinator, Samantha Norgate who was presented the cheque by some of the Black Horse staff.

Customers enjoyed a wonderful evening, with great food, whiskey galore and a brilliant Burns recital, addressing the haggis, by local Scot, Fraser Leggate, who also kindly donated some beautiful pots of heather which were auctioned off at the end by pub quizmaster, Nick Cowley who did a splendid job.

The Charity is very grateful to everyone that donated raffle prizes, including The Black Horse and Tesco Burgess Hill and for everyone’s support and generosity
