One of Horsham’s oldest business has spent over 90 years helping residents keep their gardens tidy and their mowers running, today Horace Fuller continues that tradition offering in house servicing and the best in garden machinery.
Established in 1922, Horace Fuller Ltd. opened in Horsham originally supplying products to the dairy industry, and they began manufacturing and selling the Fuller Seed Drill, the first mechanical seed drill in the UK.
The business eventually turned its hands to garden machinery, and later expanded opening branches in Pulborough and Salfords in Redhill.
Horace Fuller supplies, lawnmowers, sit on mowers, strimmers, chainsaws and more as well as their own in-house servicing department. All repairs are made on site and are not sent off to other mechanics.
Sam Harmer, head of servicing at Horace Fuller said: “People come to us for our specialist knowledge. We ask customers about their garden size and what they require, and we work with in their needs, giving honest advice and selling what matches their needs.
“We also do services on equipment for customers in our workshop by one of our engineers. All our branches have their own workshops and some of our engineers have over 30 years experience.”
