Police have closed down a cannabis growing site in Partridge Green.

At 12.52pm on Sunday, February 22, following information from members of the public, police executed a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant to search a disused warehouse on the Star Road trading estate, Partridge Green. Inside they found 100 baby cannabis plants and some 250 mature plants.

Later the same day a 41-year old Brighton man was arrested at his home address, on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis. He was later released on police bail until May 20, while enquiries continue.
