Four Horsham children are to make their TV debut when their TalkTalk ‘Mix Off’ video will be featured in The X Factor ad break.
Maisie, 8, twins Emily and William, 6, and Sophia Keeling, 3, from Horsham, will be seen by millions of TV viewers on Saturday, November 8, during The X Factor ad breaks. The siblings will be performing Story of my Life by One Direction on TalkTalk’s sponsorship bumper after making their ‘Mix Off’ music video.
TalkTalk TV, sponsors of The X Factor, created the ‘Mix Off’ app to give viewers of the show the chance to star on TV in their own unique music video, taking inspiration from some of the nation’s favourite pop stars.
Chart-topping girl band, Little Mix, recently showed fans of The X Factor how to get the best out of the app.
Fans of The X Factor can recreate their favourite boy band dance routine or channel their inner diva in front of the wind machine, and the best Mix Off music videos will be selected to appear in TalkTalk TV’s X Factor ad breaks and also feature on TalkTalk’s new TV player.
Maisie, Emily, William and Sophia’s mum said: “We are all so excited that the kids get to be on TV; we were screaming and jumping around the house and I don’t think they will sleep for weeks! We all love the X Factor and thought it would be fun to make a TalkTalk X Factor mix! We can’t stop watching our video and will definitely be tuning in on Saturday with all our friends and family to have an X Factor party!”
The app has a variety of filters and graphic effects to give each Mix Off video a unique look and feel. Music includes tracks covering a wide range of genres from pop classics, to power ballads, so there’s something for everyone.
TalkTalk’s sponsorship of The X Factor Live Final gives its 4 million homes the chance to win thousands of money-can’t-buy tickets and exclusive access to see their favourite contestants perform at the show’s spectacular final showdown.
The TalkTalk Mix Off app is available to download via the Apple App Store, or Google play.
