Shaking up Horsham’s music scene

“You can’t beat a bit of live music”. This is a phrase uttered by many in Horsham of a weekend enjoying either the dulcet tones of a live singer at the bandstand, or tapping their feet to an impressive AC/DC cover band.

New Horsham-based band promoter, Phil Williams is on a mission to extend the music scene even further.

His organisation, PhilWilliamo Gigs scopes bands from all over London and the South-East and brings them direct to your doorstep. Some of the bands that have already been booked include Kolo and Fitsroy, both of which have already played a set on BBC Introducing. Other bands booked include GuilFest Headliner and local girl, Taygan Paxton, Horsham Battle of the Bands Winners Sonic Deluxe, The Flip Flays, Fragile Creatures and many more.

Phil Williams, Managing Director of PhilWilliamo Gigs said: “PhilWilliamo Gigs scopes bands from all over London and the South-East and brings them to your doorstep. This means that we can commit ourselves to focus on quality, and supplying only the best bands and sustain the high calibre of our live music events.”

So why not come down to the Broadbridge Heath Leisure Centre on October 10, 2014, to sample some of the amazing talent on offer for just £5 each. Doors open from 7.30pm.

PhilWilliamo Gigs is also hosting Halloween (October 31) this year at Broadbridge Heath Leisure Centre. Dressing up for this event isn’t mandatory, however, it is certainly advised! It’s time to pump a bit of fun back into your Fridays, Horsham.
