A man in his early 60s died after collapsing in the street in Horsham on Thursday, October 10.
A police spokesperson said: “Ambulance paramedics were called to Guildford Road at 2.16pm and the man, from Guildford, was taken to the East Surrey Hospital at Redhill where he sadly died.
“His next of kin have been advised and the matter has been referred to the coroner’s officer.
Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAMB) were called to the scene near the co-op store at around 2pm.
A spokesperson for SECAMB said: “Three ambulance crews were at the scene, CPR had already been commenced by a bystander.”
