Horsham Library is 25 years old

There was music, cake, and plenty of special appearances at Horsham library’s 25th birthday celebration on Saturday, September 13.

From 10am to 4pm the Library was host to a number of activities including a musical performance from Stagecoach School, Sara Starbuck, author of ‘The Dread Pirate Fleur’ children’s books gave a talk about her writing and an acoustic performance by local Fleetwood Mac tribute band, Second Hand News.

Later in the day Joanne Good and Anna Webb from BBC Radio London were signing copies of their new book about dogs and the day finished with the community band of the Sir Robert Wooward Academy.

The event was opened by West Sussex County Council Chairman, Amanda Jupp cutting the cake.
