Horsham market trader holds railway photo shoot

The beautiful setting of the Lavender Line Railway in Sussex was the location for a photo shoot for a local children’s dress designer recently.

Tracey Edwards, owner of Molly Coddle Childrenswear, a vintage childrens clothing company who brings her clothes to the Horsham Carfax Market in West Sussex every Thursday, designs and makes most of her own clothes for babies and children up to seven years in an inspiring array of fabrics suitable for boys and girls.

Molly Coddle Childrenswear prides itself on quality, durability and individuality. Tracey’s designs have been sent all over the world to customers as far flung as America and Australia but, she says Horsham is a great place to sell her items.

She said: “I think people really appreciate the uniqueness of my designs, I try hard to not have just pink for girls or just blue for boys. One of my biggest sellers at the moment is a Golden Yellow Buzzy-Bee dress – so many little girls love it!”

Tracey chose the Lavender Line Railway in Uckfield, East Sussex for the photo shoot because of its timeless elegance and beauty.

She said: “It was great to use the Lavender Line Railway as a backdrop to my new summer range for children.

“The Lavender Line Railway is a stunning setting, and the children modelling the clothes really enjoyed seeing the lovely old trains.”

Come along to see Tracey near to the entrance of Swan Walk in Horsham every Thursday from 9am-5pm.
