Man charged with Pulborough collision

A man has been charged after a collision near Pulborough in the early hours of Sunday, April 13.

At about 12.35am on Sunday 13 April two men aged 18 and 24, both pedestrians, were injured when they were hit by a car being driven north on the A29 London Road, Pulborough.

Daniel Flay, 31, a construction worker, of Highfield, Wick has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, actual bodily harm, dangerous driving and driving when over the alcohol limit.

The 18-year old was taken to St George’s Hospital in South London with serious but non-life threatening head and body injuries. The 24-year old was treated at Worthing Hospital for a leg injury.

Flay will appear at Crawley Magistrates Court today (Monday, April 14).
