A 16-year-old girl who was arrested on suspicion of arson following a fire at the Millais School in Horsham on Thursday, March 20, has been charged.
The girl who cannot be identified for legal reasons has been charged with arson with intent to endanger life and remanded to attend Crawley Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, March 25.
Chief Inspector Howard Hodges, Horsham District Commander said: “We remain committed to helping the School community return to normality. I would like to thank both the pupils, staff and wider school for their support during this investigation and to give reassurance to the wider Horsham community that events of this nature are isolated and rare.”
How I wish Sussex Police were so pro active on other crimes, with only a 17% success rate there’s ample scope to improve, I would be interested to know why she did it
The Sussex Police couldn’t find shoes in a shoe box these days !!!
Are we supposed to simply ignore this pointless drivel, or call on morons like Hird to explain their entirely unhelpful useless time wasting comments?
I say well done to all staff for successfully getting every single girl out safe and sound. Feel for the parents too as very silly girl ruined her life with arsonist on record I know I would be mortified if it was my daughter and hope this community can pull together and help this school to get back to normal for all our kids education.
Who would do such a thing?NOT ME?!?
