WIN tickets to Postman Pat Live! and meet him

Postman Pat Live! – It’s Showtime, starring everyone’s favourite Postie, will be coming to the Capitol Horsham on Saturday, February 15.

We have teamed up with Classic Media and Premier Stage Productions and we have 1 family ticket (2 adults/2 children) for the 1.00 pm performance.  The lucky winner will have the chance to see Postman Pat in this brand new adventure and then meet him after the show.

Starring alongside Postman Pat will be favourites Ted Glen, Mrs Goggins, Ajay, Amy and of course Pat’s trusted sidekick Jess, the Black and White Cat.   With plenty of audience participation and new songs, Postman Pat Live! – It’s Showtime, offers lots of fun and excitement for the whole family.

We caught up with Postman Pat to ask him a few questions.

Can you describe your typical day?

(Chuckles) No day in Greendale is EVER typical! Once I get the Special Delivery Service call to pick up a new delivery from the Sorting Office in Pencaster, anything can happen – and usually does!

What would you be if you were not a postman?

Oh, that’s an interesting question! Hmm…let me see. I used to think I’d like to be a train driver when I was a lad…..Do you know, I can’t think of ANYTHING else I’d rather be than a postman! I love seeing all my friends and neighbours on my delivery round. The look on someone’s face when they get a special card or present from a loved one in the post….well, there’s really nothing like it.

What has been the highlight of your career so far?

Ooh…..it’s got to be going along to Her Majesty the Queen’s Eightieth Birthday garden party at Buckingham Palace. I even delivered some of the invitations and had my photograph taken with Her Majesty. Yes, that was definitely a highlight.

What has been the most unusual thing you have delivered to date?

I’ve delivered all sorts – from a tiny jewelled elephant to a huge industrial strength magnet. I think the most unusual things I’ve delivered recently are a Chinese Dragon costume to the school and a karaoke machine to Ted for the Greendale Karaoke night.
