Model, Katie Price has taken to Twitter attacking thieves who smashed their way into her car stealing her Louis Vuitton handbag on Friday, February 21, in Denne Road car park, Horsham.
The model was in nearby restaurant Wabi in East Street.
She told her 1.8 million Twitter followers: “In Horsham someone smashed my window stole my bag with all valuables in! Pure scum low life’s”
She also told followers there were witnesses in the car park and that police have been informed.
She later wrote: “Anyone who is given a cream round barrel louis v bag and black louis v card holder in Horsham it’s mine! Also my valuables inside.”
The model did admit not following crime prevention advice. She tweeted a photo of her car window which had been smashed with glass on the car seat.
She had also posted news of the incident on Facebook and her fans have reacted with sympathy.
A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: “The Land Rover Discovery was parked in Denne Road car park for several hours and the theft was discovered when the owner returned to the vehicle around 11.15pm.
“As the occupants returned the car, they noticed three men looking across to them who split up and walked off in different directions. They are described as in their late 20s to early 30s, one wearing a black jacket and having close cropped short hair.”
