Horsham teen takes to the stage in Trafalgar Square

Local Horsham teenager Nathanael Landskroner, 15, is all set to give the performance of his life in a solo slot at a massive charity launch in Trafalgar Square this Saturday, February 8.

Nathanael is part of a group of emerging young artists known as Together in Harmony who were brought together in December to record a charity single in memory of Fusilier Lee Rigby. The single, Miss You Machine, is the brain child of Gary Gardener and all monies raised will benefit The Fusiliers Aid Society. The song is written by singer/songwriter Remedy Sounds whose album Incredaboy is out shortly.

The launch in Trafalgar Square will feature headline act Boney M and Nathanael will perform on a stage with £100,000 worth of sound and lighting sponsored by Peavey.

Nathanael will perform as a solo artists and also alongside two other artists as a trio. He will also sing with the group for the world public premiere of the single.

Drummer Rigby was murdered outside Woolwich Barracks on 22 May 2013. Money from the single will directly benefit Lee’s 3 year old son Jack and others who have lost a parent in the armed forces.

Nathanael, who is head boy at the Horsham branch of The Act Too Academy, said: “I feel very honoured and privileged to have been asked to take part and would like to thank everyone involved.

“For me the weekend spent at Metropolis was very special and I hope that the single Miss You Machine touches people around the world. It is our way of reaching out to Jack and everyone from Lee’s Barracks to show that we care.

“When I was 9 my Mum was diagnosed with cancer. I am lucky. I still have her and I can’t imagine life without a parent.

“This is my chance to give something back and while we may not be able to change the world with one song, we can make a difference. I urge everyone to pledge 5 minutes of their time and download the single on 8th February. Together we can create a little Harmony in the world . Thank you “

The Single will be available on Friday, February 8, at exactly 2.50pm when crowds of people will gather at various venues across the world to act Together in Harmony and break a World Record for the most simultaneous downloads.

There is also a guitar signed by Together in Harmony and also X factor’s Luke Friend and this will be auctioned shortly. For all information and to download/ pre order the single please visit www.togetherinharmony.co.uk.
