Body found in Washington car park

At 2pm on Thursday, February 6, a member of the public found the body of a man in a parked Ford Focus car in a car park adjacent to Parkfield Farm, Glaseby Lane, Washington. The death is not being treated as suspicious and the matter has been referred to the Coroners Officer.

The Metropolitan Police, issued a media release naming the man as Ronald Lane, 75, from County Durham, who had been reported missing from a family address in Carshalton on Wednesday, February 5.
