Horsham Football Club has this morning announced the resignation of first team manager Simon Coalbran.
During discussions with club officials on Thursday night Simon explained that his own business obligations, as well as travelling issues, had made it difficult for him to maintain the level of commitment needed to fulfil the role.
Assistant-Manager Gary Charman will take charge of the first team for tomorrow’s visit to Sittingbourne and will have discussions with the Board early next week with regards to making the position more permanent.
Horsham FC Vice Chairman & CEO John Lines speaking to The District Post said: “The news of Simon’s resignation is still sinking in. The club thanks Simon for all he has done since joining us two years ago and we wish him well in all he does in the future. Gary Charman will be in charge of the team on Saturday and talks will take place next week regarding the long term situation.”
