Badging company identifies secret to business success

Badges by leading ID card specialist IDentilam are a familiar sight at major sporting events like Wimbledon. With orders coming in from Microsoft and the British Government, business is booming for this local company.

Based in Faygate, IDentilam provide event badging and corporate ID card software and services. Over the past 28 years, they have established themselves as market leaders in the events industry.

Since 1995, everyone involved at the Wimbledon Tennis Championship has been wearing an IDentilam badge – from star players and press to security workers.

Sales director David Stoker believes the reason why high-profile clients come back year after year is because of IDentilam’s excellent reputation and expertise.

David says: “We target profitable business and pick good clients.

“This year we were involved with the G7 and G8 summits. We’re also installing a badging system at Microsoft’s Global Briefing Centre in California.”

This isn’t the first time IDentilam have helped the famous software company. They were also involved in the top secret European launch of the new Xbox.

David said: “We develop unique and highly advanced software in-house. Our ComPic system has been used at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations in London, the ICC Champions Trophy cricket tournament and the current Ashes test match series.”

Horsham cricket fans might recognise IDentilam through their sponsorship of the Colts Cricket League, which offers cricket to boys and girls from under 9’s to under 16’s.

In 2008, the IDentilam Horsham Cricket Academy was formed thanks to donations from the company. Last year, the IDentilam Cricket Foundation was also created to help develop Colts Cricket in Surrey.

IDentilam plan to continue their commitment to grass roots sport and support charities, both at a company level and as individuals. To find out more IDentilam, visit or for information about the IDentilam Colts Cricket League, go to
