Police found missing 16-year-old Ghombro Neba safe and well in Dunkirk, France on Thursday, July 4.
He had last been seen in Rusper Road, Horsham, on December, 28, 2012.
Chief Inspector Howard Hodges said: “This was a challenging investigation that has, through working with our partners, ensured that we have located Ghombro minimising any future risks posed to him and ensuring that suitable arrangements can be made to secure his future welfare. I would like to thank the public for their support which is, as always, the key to police success.
Ghombro, who had been missing previously, is under the care of West Sussex County Council.
Ghombro is originally from the Waltham Forest area of London but moved to West Sussex in 2012.
