On Friday, April 12, at around 2am, JJ’s Hairdressers in Blackbridge Lane, Horsham, was broken into via the front door and about £5 cash was taken from the till.
A glass panel at the entrance was smashed and the thief – or thieves – crawled through broken glass.
JJ’s was previously burgled in December and nearly £250 was stolen from the premises.
Ruth Dalton, owner of JJ’s, was contacted by her business partner early on Friday morning and informed of the break-in.
Police have discovered clothing fibres on the glass and a finger print on the tip box.
A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: “This is the second time the same place has been burgled in the past four months and police are considering the possibility of a connection between the two incidents.
“Police have been investigating and anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area overnight or who has any other information that would help is asked to call us on 101 quoting serial 0295 of 12/4. You can also call independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
