A man has been jailed for more than 15 years for sexual offences against children in Horsham.
68-year-old Terence Paremain of Crowborough appeared at Lewes Crown Court last Friday and was sentenced to 15 years and six months in prison.
He had previously been found guilty of 18 sex offences against three children. The offences dated from the early 1980s. His victims reported the offences to police in 2011.
Detective Constable John Hord said: “His victims have shown great courage in coming forward and reporting these offences, having lived with them for more than 30 years.
“What they suffered has clearly had a massive impact on their lives and we have worked very hard to bring Paremain to justice.”
The charges Paremain pleaded guilty to were 10 counts of indecent assault, five counts of a serious sexual offence and two counts of inciting a child to commit an act of gross indecency.
