Santa and tigers have a lot in common – both are rarely seen, and both provoke joy and awe when they are! So it was fitting that they should get together at Care for the Wild’s Wildlife Grotto.
Local families, the Pleasure Singers choir and Dillydoodle the face-painter joined Care for the Wild mascot Kira for a day of fun at the Horsham charity’s offices in Brighton Road.
Care for the Wild was taking part in an annual fundraising initiative which allowed it to double any money raised over a short period.
Philip Mansbridge, chief executive of the charity, said: “It was great to see Santa, though I think Kira gave him a shock!
“We had a great day here, which will mean more money going to help UK wildlife through the winter.”
