The National Childbirth Trust urgently needs volunteers to join its Horsham district committee. Otherwise, the district branch faces closure.
Branch co-ordinator Kirstin Epsley said: “Volunteering need not take up much of your time. We just need enthusiastic parents or grandparents who can spare their time to help out. Even a few hours a week could help keep this vital service thriving. As well as being a brilliant way to meet like-minded parents in the local community, volunteering is also a useful asset to any CV.
“We really don’t want local parents to be forced to travel out of their local community to neighbouring towns such as Crawley, when the branch could continue to thrive in Horsham if we had some additional volunteer support.”
