Henfield teenager still missing after 3 months

Three months after he was last seen, worried police have renewed their appeal to find a 16-year-old boy.

Gbombo Neba has been missing from his Henfield care home since August 9. Police believed he was in the Worthing area, but they are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare as no sightings have been reported recently.

Gbombo, who moved to Sussex from Waltham Forest, London, is Afro-Caribbean, 6ft tall, stocky and speaks with a London accent. On August 9, he was seen near Lancing railway station with short, dark brown hair, blue jeans, black trainers and a brown jumper.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “It is now almost three months since we had a confirmed sighting of Gbombo. Due to his age and now the length of time he has been missing, we are becoming increasingly concerned about him and need to know that he is safe and well. Police have carried out numerous inquiries to try to find Gbombo and hope that this renewed appeal will lead to him being found.”

Anyone with any information can phone police on 101, quoting serial 1723 of August 9.
