The Pavilions in the Park will stage a two-hour sponsored cycle with an Eighties music theme.
The event, from 7.30pm on Thursday next week, is part of Cancer Research UK and Channel 4’s Stand Up To Cancer campaign.
Tim Bolton, general manager of The Pavilions, said: “We are calling on all of our customers to stand up to cancer by helping us raise money at this exciting event.”
Organiser Benita Wright, senior area volunteer manager for Cancer Research UK, said: “We want people in Horsham to encourage their family, friends and workmates to watch the live show (on Channel 4 tomorrow) so we can all stand together in the fight against cancer. It’s fantastic to feel part of a movement which includes stars and celebrities as well as local people, all joining together to stand up to cancer.”
