Former teacher exhibits art at Sedgwick Park House

For the first time, Sedgwick Park House opened its doors to local artists as part of the Horsham Artists Open Studios.

Many arts enthusiasts visited the estate, which has views of the South Downs and Chanctonbury Ring, and met three artists exhibiting their work in the oak-panelled ballroom.

Gordon Ferrie, a former Art teacher at Tanbridge House School, models clay. His glazes are mostly ash and clay sourced from Chichester Harbour. Suzanne Terrington works mainly with wood and Esther Clark in textiles, using vibrant colours.
