Collyer’s students pass Cambridge test

Collyer’s Chemistry students won two gold, four silver and 10 copper medals in the Cambridge Chemistry Challenge.

Will Earley and Pete Hammond struck gold, while Nick Cox, Bardia Izadkhahi, Kieran Sampson and Kate Wilkinson took silver. Copper awards went to Joanna Canham, Janice Chung, Lewis Denyer, Zoe Hough, Chloe Lorenzo, Callum Luxon, Charlie Mok, Tabassum Mollison, Ben Redshaw and Joyee Yeung.

Collyer’s principal Jackie Johnston said: “These students have demonstrated that they are among the country’s elite. I’m incredibly proud of their success and the continued outstanding work of our nationally-renowned faculty for Mathematics and Science.”
